Auto Club Raceway at Pomona in Pomona, California is the oldest venue on the NHRA’s Mello Yello Drag Racing schedule, having hosted the season-opening Winternationals since 1961. The track also hosts the season finale for the series, the NHRA Finals, which it has done since 1984. The Winternationals will take place Thursday through Sunday, February 5th through 8th, 2015, while the Auto Club NHRA Finals wrap up the season Thursday through Sunday, November 12th through 15th, 2015.
The quarter-mile track is one of the nation’s most famous drag strips, and is operated by the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA). It has a seating capacity of 40,000.
Tickets are now on sale for the 2015 season opener, the 55th annual NHRA Winternationals. A full-event general admission pass is $130, while the Top Eliminator Club full-event pass is $340; the Top Eliminator Club includes starting line seating, access to the Hospitality Center, complimentary refreshments daily, catered meals on Saturday and Sunday, and a gift bag (may also include driver appearances, but not guaranteed).
Two-day passes for Saturday and Sunday are also available, ranging in price from $86 to $117. Individual day tickets can also be purchased; Thursday passes are $12, while Friday passes range in price from $38 to $55; Saturday and Sunday tickets range in price from $48 to $65.
