On Friday, Feb. 6, Showcase Live, Patriot Place in Foxboro has a four band showcase to benefit the Perkins School for the Blind and local food pantries. In addition to the four bands, OneEleven will be recording their live video at the show and the band wants you to be apart of their first music video. According to the OneEleven Band, they are encouraging everyone at the show to use their iphones and video the concert. Then submit the footage to the band. Sculler’s Jazz Club, 400 Soldiers Field Road in Cambridge has Roberta Gambarini Quartet on Friday, Feb. 6. Gambarini has a national following after her debut release in 2006 which made her a Grammy nominee and in 2007 she was voted Best Female Jazz Vocalist. Original heavy metal band Sakara, Children Of-the Korn 20th Anniversary Show, Blackout – New England’s Sevendust Experience and Vining Hill. Sakara is a hard rock band from western Massachusetts who has toured with Stained, Skid Row and LA Guns. Their debut album, released by Pavement Entertainment was produced by Johnny April of Stained. Plough and Stars, 912 Massachusetts Ave in Cambridge has the Jugghead Band on Friday, Jan. 6. This band was founded in 2008 and is all roots and soul with much of their material being original tunes written by Hanlin adn DelCid. The band is: Patrick Hanlin, Lucas DelCid, Luke Hanlin, Reid Anguin, Fred Bement, Andrew DelCid, Adam Gamwell and Daryl Romkey. But, they also play and record with many guest musicians.
