This medium-sized black and white dog was left in the backyard when his owners moved. Left like an old refrigerator or a box of garbage. But this dog sits on the back porch as if looking to see when his family will come back for him.
There is a rescue that will take him, but only if they can find someone willing to foster him. As is often the case, rescues can only help as many dogs as they can house — and without enough foster homes, they can’t help every dog in need.
If you could foster this little guy (he is housebroken), please contact Dee and let her know. Otherwise he might end up in a kill shelter instead of safe with a rescue.
Consider offering to foster a dog or cat. The veterinarian bills are covered by the rescue, and often the food is as well. You just provide the love and attention!
