UFO sightings are one thing but an alien attack might require police back-up. So would an attempted alien abduction. The West Midlands Police in England report that although they have taken 23 alien-related calls in the past four years and responded to each, some of the calls were for alien attacks in progress or for assistance in helping to thwart an alien abduction.
Open Minds TV reported March 19 that a recent Freedom of Information request prompted the West Midlands Police to be true to their pledge of transparency to the public they serve. That request? “Please, under the freedom of information act can you tell me how many alien abductions have been reported in the West Midlands over past three years, breaking it down for each area? Can you also give details on each case and how the report was resolved?”
The police did the request one better — as in one year better. They first provided the disclaimer that along with the important information provided, answering the requests have “also highlighted some of the force’s more unusual call outs.” They then noted that there were 23 alien-related calls over the past four years (a year more than was requested). Of those calls, two were from individuals under attack by aliens or in fear of an alien home invasion. Three concerned individuals being abducted or who feared an abduction. And four were from individuals either talking to aliens or who were hearing aliens speak to them.
Of the remaining 14 calls, all were reports of alien sightings. It should be noted that these calls are separate from UFO sighting reports.
The West Midlands Police also offered that even though they had provided accurate information inasmuch as they were able under the parameters of their records searches, it should be noted that the limited nature of the data collection should be “taken into account when interpreting those data.” As Open Minds TV pointed out, this could very well mean there were a few more calls from the public that were missed in the initial records search.
And West Midlands is only a small part of England. There is no way to accurately ascertain just how many alien attacks and other alien-related encounters of various kinds have been reported around the world.
According to a 2013 Huffington Post/YouGov poll, 50 percent of Americans believe there is life on other worlds. Still, only 38 percent felt that intelligent life exists on other planets. Some 25 percent of respondents believe that aliens have visited Earth.
In another 2013 poll, one conducted by Public Policy Polling where only 29 percent believed that aliens exist, 4 percent also believed that lizard people controlled politics. A popular conspiracy theory bandied about in some circles is that intelligent aliens, called “reptilians” by many, have either settled on Earth or are invading Earth, disguising themselves with costumes, cloaks, or mind control (among some of the theories) as humans so as to interact and control the governments of the world.
Regardless, it is good to know that the West Midlands Police are there to come to the aid of public when hostile aliens attack or are otherwise running about and being annoying. It is hoped that the same can be said of all law enforcement representatives everywhere.
