If your idea of a good time is to spend the night headbanging with some of rock’s hottest women, then Revolver’s Hottest Chicks In Hard Rock tour is just the thing for you. I recently caught up with the tour at their stop at State Theater in St. Petersburg, Fla. The show was so hot, steam was billowing out the front door every time it opened. All four acts were unique in their own way, but collectively it lived up to it’s billing.
Falling For Scarlet’s lead singer, Lee Thomaschefski broke the ice and melted the crowd’s hearts with her angelic voice and dreamy stage presence. Mark my words people, this hottie will be rock’s newest angel in no time. She and the rest of this Vancouver-based band have all the tools and talent necessary to break out and become a major factor in the world of hard rock. Check out their video, “Army Of One” here and you’ll see why.
Boston-born Diamante wasted no time turning up the heat and show the enthusiastic crowd why she’s quickly becoming all the rage in today’s rock conversation. Her stage presence is feisty and fearless, just like her current hit song, “There’s a Party In My Pants (And You’re All Invited).” Watching her dance moves and hair flips is worth the price of admission alone as she wastes no time grabbing your undivided attention and holding it for the entire set. Her all-female band is extremely talented and kick up the hotness level to ghost pepper status. Check out their video for “Bite My Kiss” here.
Jacksonville, Florida’s Fit For Rivals are the real deal. They pump out so much energy, the power company had to kick in another reactor. Lead singer, Renee Phoenix took the stage like it was nobody’s business and put on a demonstration. He voice is strong and powerful. It’s hard to believe so much could come from such a small frame.
It’s truly amazing how The Agonist with new lead singer, Vicky Psarakis didn’t set the stage on fire with their incredible set. The guitar licks and thunderous drums really get the blood boiling. Mix that with the dynamic vocal range of Psarakis along with her unforgettable screams and this band is sizzling! To be so up close to the stage, fans got a first-hand look at the talent The Agonist has to offer. The band made each fan feel as if they were a part of the show and it was a sight to see everyone headbanging together.
Flyleaf’s Kristen May is a true professional in every sense of the word. She has the voice, the looks and the confidence to deliver a set that fan’s won’t soon forget. To see her and the rest of Flyleaf perform in this intimate setting is truly a unique experience that few get to see. One can literally feel the passion that May puts out into each song, tugging at the crowd’s heart-strings. And if three feet from the stage just isn’t close enough, they offer a unique opportunity for fans to dance up on stage with them.
This tour was designed to give fans a unique experience and see such talent in an intimate setting. Each band made themselves available to the crowd after their sets for photo ops and signings. This opportunity doesn’t come along very often and fans should jump at the chance when it arises. There are only a few dates left of the tour so check the website and catch it while you can.
