Just announced February 24, 2015, Angel Mary and the Tennessee Werewolves will be rocking the Hard Rock Café in Nashville, on Thursday night, February 26, 2015 at 11:15 pm. They are appearing as part of the Spin Doctors Music Group artists. The Spin Doctors Music Group is back for its 3rd year during CRS week at the Hard Rock. During the show, the artists will be honoring Nashville’s own Billy Block. Block is currently battling stage IV cancer and if prayers can heal, this man will beat this cancer for the 3rd time. For almost 20 years, Billy Block has helped struggling artists and songwriters by bringing attention to them through, ‘The Billy Block Show.’
This past Valentine’s Day, Angel Mary and the Tennessee released their first ballad, a love song called, “Loving You,” available exclusively on iTunes. This family trio is dropping a single entitled, “Ramblin,” to country radio in early March. You can watch Angel Mary and the Tennessee Werewolves music video for their song “Cowboy,” at YouTube. While you are there, make sure to check out their rendition of the Johnny Cash hit, “Folsom Prison Blues.” This song is very special to the howling trio as they really loved Johnny Cash. The song was co-produced by John Carter Cash, the son of Johnny and June and that production took place at the Cash Cabin. Some musical friends joined them in the music video’s of both song so be looking for Doug Phelps, William Lee Golden, Chris Golden, Robert Reynolds, Captain Jack and Manuel.
Doug Phelps is from the Kentucky Headhunters, the Golden brothers are from the Oak Ridge Boys, Robert Reynolds is from the Mavericks, Captain Jack is from Nashville’s own Renegade radio and Manuel is the much loved stage clothing for the stars designer.
Special guest Kenny Olson of Kid Rock fame will be joining AMTW on Thursday night. Olson had played lead guitar for Kid Rock for years. He is a guitar legend in his own right. This is what he has to say about Angel Mary and the Tennessee Werewolves. “Angel Mary& The Tennessee Werewolves combine all the right ingredients in their music. It has the swampy twang from their roots and brings the Rockin’ grooves to the table. I really dig what they’re doing and I have a great time playing with them whenever I can get a chance to do so. I am looking forward to playing with them this week at the Hard Rock in Nashville on Thursday the 26th. It’s gonna be BADASS!! Kenny Olson”
Ironically, this show is happening on Johnny Cash’s birthday. To find out more about Angel Mary and the Tennessee Werewolves, go to their website and like them at Facebook.
