Violence in Baltimore is the result of years of liberal, socialist teachings in the schools while parents entertained themselves and couldn’t be bothered teaching their children… and the next generation came along and didn’t know how to teach their children because they were never caught.
Reverse racism has been so deeply taught over the last few decades – these young black students are now acting what they have learned. Children live what they learn.
Children Learn What They Live
By Dorothy Law Nolte, Ph.D.
If children live with criticism, they learn to condemn.
If children live with hostility, they learn to fight.
If children live with fear, they learn to be apprehensive.
If children live with pity, they learn to feel sorry for themselves.
If children live with ridicule, they learn to feel shy.
If children live with jealousy, they learn to feel envy.
If children live with shame, they learn to feel guilty.
If children live with encouragement, they learn confidence.
If children live with tolerance, they learn patience.
If children live with praise, they learn appreciation.
If children live with acceptance, they learn to love.
If children live with approval, they learn to like themselves.
If children live with recognition, they learn it is good to have a goal.
If children live with sharing, they learn generosity.
If children live with honesty, they learn truthfulness.
If children live with fairness, they learn justice.
If children live with kindness and consideration, they learn respect.
If children live with security, they learn to have faith in themselves and in those about them.
If children live with friendliness, they learn the world is a nice place in which to live. Copyright © 1972 by Dorothy Law Nolte
They are calling for parents to take control their children there; for some it is too late. But for others it is not. All the programs and “gimmie stuff” will never change the heart of ruthless people – love will but so few are willing to love instead of hate. Now, they are asking parents to take responsibility for their children when for decades the government has moved in and taken control of their lives. The government takes control but not the responsibility. American politicians have become embroiled in the affairs of the world while the very foundation of America is eroding.
Schools have refused to allow students religious freedom and freedom of religious speech and activities and the absence of God is anarchy. Community action groups and schools and politicians have deeply rooted the thoughts of anarchy, racism, and rebellion against the government, the church, and others.
Powerful images from Baltimore – how long will we ignore the “elephant in the room?” Pogo the comic strip character said it best, “We have met the enemy and the enemy is US.”
Bible study groups, prayer meetings in the home and public are denied; but community action groups flourish telling these young people they are deprived, that it is others who keep them from succeeding, and that someone else is to blame for generations of discord and poverty… we see that the government does not have the answers, but God does.
Our nation, the wealthiest in the world, has far too many “throw away” children who are left to their own devices with no teaching and no love many times at home, in the churches, and even in the schools. So many have depended on the government to be their parent – to look after them and to teach them, and we need to ask ourselves, “Now just how does that work out for them?”
There are certainly changes that need to be made in law enforcement, surely. But take that uniform off and they are people just like everyone else – with bills to pay, marital problems, children acting out, and all that goes on in the lives of those who are not in law enforcement. Rioters are not just acting out against a uniform or a police car – they are acting out against other people who are struggling just like they are.
The major lesson to be learned here – don’t commit crimes. Living by rules is what makes a society civilized. Stop running in gangs just going around looking to start trouble and crimes to commit. Educate yourself out of poverty. Disassociate yourself from drugs, alcohol, illicit sex, and have pride in yourself and who you are and who you can become rather than digging a pity hole and climbing into it.
When approached by law enforcement for any reason, remember they fear for their lives as well…they have families at home that they want to go home and have dinner with at the end of the day.
Sit down in the street if you have to and don’t run and don’t pull a weapon, and don’t smart mouth them and don’t – don’t- don’t create the situation to where force is needed and often times decided in a split second. The life you might save could be your own… and no amount of violence, rioting, robbing, and looting will bring you back.
Be proud of who you are and make others proud of you as well. Read the Bible the most precious book in the entire world that has ALL the answers to life. Join God’s Gang and become like the disciples where twelve of them turned the world upside down and they didn’t riot or burn to accomplish what has lasted for centuries, they did it by following Jesus.
Anarchy as described in the Bible:
“You shall not do at all what we are doing here today, every man doing whatever is right in his own eyes”
“In those days there was no king in Israel; every man did what was right in his own eyes.”
“So I will incite Egyptians against Egyptians; And they will each fight against his brother and each against his neighbor, City against city and kingdom against kingdom.
Surely now they will say, “We have no king, For we do not revere the LORD. As for the king, what can he do for us?”
Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.
