Ben Stein, an extremely outspoken conservative political pundit and television personality, spoke on Fox News television’s “America’s News HQ” on Sunday, according to Talking Points Memo. During his appearance on the program, he asserted that President Barack Obama is the most racist president this nation has ever seen. As others have said in recent days, leading up to the midterm election of 2014, the Democrats are totally refusing to talk about President Obama and his policies at all. Instead, it is said that they are continually trying to put unjustified fears in the minds of America’s blacks concerning the Republicans.
Stein got on that bandwagon by stating that Democrats and the Obama White House have tried to make the Nov. 4 election about race. Stein said that the White House is trying to racialize all politics and they are especially trying to tell African-American voters that the Republican Party is against letting them have a chance at a good life in this economy. Stein vehemently says that this portrayal of the GOP is a complete lie. He says he watches all the stories about how the Democratic politicians are trying to influence the African-American vote by claiming that the Republicans have policies against black people in terms of the economy. The conservative pundit says he is incredibly fascinated by these types of unfounded assertions by the political left, according to Infowars media outlet. Within his comments, he targeted former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as the worst of the contemporary politicians who is going around with this anti-Republican rhetoric.
The video clip which was posted on Media Matters shows Stein giving his harsh accusations for the political left. He claims that all of this talk about the GOP wanting to harm black people is all a way to racialize voting in America. His most shocking statement was about Obama in which he said, verbatim, was, “This president is the most racist president there has ever been in America. He is purposely trying to use race to divide Americans.” Social media websites such as Perspective.com have referenced Stein’s comments, and the comments from U.S. citizens are varied on the pundit’s claims of Obama being racist.
Sunday’s comments by Stein are far from the first time he has controversially opined about President Barack Obama and the Obama administration. In the past, he has spoken out on numerous governmental and political issues. According to Yahoo, Stein’s politically-linked career goes way back. In his younger days, he was one of the speechwriters who worked with President Richard M. Nixon.
