Blake Lively stunned on the red carpet of “The Age of Adaline”movie premiere in New York City Sunday night. Wearing a red lace, leather and feathers Monique Lhuillier bodice gown, one wouldn’t believe the actress recently gave birth. With a glamorous one-sided wavy hairstyle, pinned back using a braid, Blake Lively’s makeup flawlessly complemented the look, as created by Elaine Offers for L’Oréal Paris.
In a movie about a woman that never ages, Blake Lively discussed “The Age of Adaline” premise with Allure where she appeared on the cover of the May issue. “People are obsessed with beauty and youth and with looking and feeling young forever. But look at a woman who is granted that: She’s trapped, because it’s tragic to be young forever.” Discussing her own mortality and the recent birth of her baby girl, the 27-year-old “Gossip Girl” star paused adding, “And also, having a child makes you realize that we pass on for a reason. You think: I have to go, because it makes room for you.”
Fans are surely obsessed with Blake Lively’s beauty from last night’s red carpet. Elaine Offers for L’Oréal Paris created her flawless face, inspired by “Blake’s red Monique Lhuillier dress, which was was super glamorous in that old school way.” Offers “kept the makeup on-theme and timeless,” on par with the “classic red carpet look that is something you might see in Cannes. “ Using cosmetics from L’Oréal Paris, Elaine’s step-by-step beauty tutorial is as follows.
For the New York movie premiere of “The Age of Adaline,” Elaine prepped Blake Lively’s skin with L’Oréal Paris RevitaLift Miracle Blur “for a smooth base complexion.” The beauty brand’s Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in Sun Beige was then applied for “all-over coverage and a flawless finish.”
Blake Lively’s cheekbones and corners of the eyes were highlighted with accents of Magic Lumi Highlighter “for added radiance.” Using “mid-tone browns” from the new L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche La Palette Nude, Elaine “added dimension to Blake’s eyes, further contouring the corners with a darker brown shadow shade.”
Smokissime Eyeliner in Black was applied near the lash line. Lively’s waterlines were lined with Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in Highlighter. Brows were arched and filled with L’Oréal Paris Brow Stylist Plumper in Light/Medium, and Voluminous Mascara coated her lashes.
Wearing red lipstick atop a red dress clashes. To keep Blake Lively’s lips “shapely and pretty, yet not overly defined or too bold,” Elaine lined them with L’Oréal Paris Infallible Lipliner in Coral and filled them in with Colour Riche Balm Pop in Bold Blush. “The Age of Adaline” starring the beautiful Blake Lively opens nationwide April 24, 2015.
