Bruce Jenner reportedly is recovering from breast augmentation surgery. According to Radar Online on Tuesday, Bruce has been recovering from the major surgery in his Malibu home. His sons, Brandon and Brody have been helping nursing him back to health.
According to the source, Jenner had surgery around March 10. He was told not to lift anything and to rest in a recliner until healed. The doctor also told Bruce to wear a bra 24 hours a day to allow his small implants to settle in correctly. The doctor expects his recovery to last about six weeks.
The “KUWTK” star had not been seen in public in over three weeks. He stayed at home recovering from surgery. He is usually photographed daily when he is out and about L.A. Another insider reported that the recovery has not been too difficult for Bruce. He is handling his pain well. The source revealed the most difficult part of his transformation is the emotional impact it has had on his relationship with his family. He felt at peace with his choice to have the breast implants as it will put him one step closer to living his life as a woman. He had said numerous times that he has felt for years he was really a female.
In May or June, he will have the full gender reassignment surgery. At that time, he may undergo another breast implant surgery in order to upgrade his cup size. It is rumored that he wants to have his complete transformation in time to show off his results in the fall on “Dancing with the Stars.”
