Portland, OR —Bestselling author and local joy guru Shannon Kaiser is throwing a self-love party on international Self-Love Day, February 13, 2015, to benefit Girls Inc. NW.
The event, titled LOVE YOU, is a party to honor your beautiful and unique self and will feature five local self-love experts and speakers, including Suzie Sandoval founder of OrganiZEN, Shannon Kaiser bestselling author of Find Your Happy, Jamie Shyo founder of Joy Pimp Athletic Apparel, Jenna Nelson founder of In it For the Love and Linda Moreland.
The self-love party will also include an optional screening of the award-wining documentary Miss Representation.
The event is designed to uplift, motivate and inspire the community to come together and connect to their best selves.

Many Portland wellness companies are coming together to be part of this fundraiser to benefit Girls Inc. NW, including Portland Juice Company, which will donate juice for the signature complimentary Self-Love Sling (Portland Juice Company) Spiked Cocktail or Soda. Miranda Jaynes photography, Saint Cupcake and Laughing Planet will also be part of this event.
This event is part of a Thrivent Financial Action Team. Thrivent Action Teams are about activating their members to live out our mission and help the needs in the local community.
Ticket prices include all-access entry to live event, lecture and expert panel discussion, 1 raffle ticket, 1 complimentary Self-Love Sling (Portland Juice Company) Spiked Juice or Soda, 1 movie ticket admission for live screening of the award-winning documentary Miss Representation and Meet & Greet with Girls Inc. NW and expert self-love speaker panel.
Ticket proceeds go to Girls Inc. of the Pacific NW, as well as ten percent of bar proceeds.
