Cyber Monday, the day shoppers can get great TV and electronics deals online, arrives tomorrow. This year there are many great deals for TVs and more on Cyber Monday 2014, and you can use an app to save time and even more money.
Cyber Monday has become known perhaps as the best time to find fantastic deals on laptops, tablets, smartphones and gaming devices. But perennially, TVs seem to be the biggest item on shoppers’ lists. And this year, mobile shoppers are poised to overtake desktop shopping for the first time ever, according to the Boston Herald on Nov. 30.
Walmart has doubled its Cyber Monday deals, including a Samsung 55 4K Ultra HD LED HDTV for $998 ($500 off). Or how about a Sanyo 58-inch LED HDTV for $499.
Amazon Cyber Monday sales began Saturday, with the addition for 2014 of new deals every 10 minutes. And besides the deals on the Amazon.com website, the company will have so-called Lightning Deals on their app on Cyber Monday.
For TV deals, Amazon will offer a Samsung or Sony 40-inch 1080p LED TV, both at $298. Also an LG 49-inch Smart 4K Ultra HD LED TV for $999, and 15 percent back in rewards.
The Target Cyber Monday deals will run through to Dec. 6., according to the International Business Times. The retailer will feature week-long and daily sales such as a Samsung 40-inch Smart LED HDTV for $379.99, which comes with a free $30 Target gift card.
However, since many Cyber Monday sales weren’t revealed until this weekend or tomorrow even, there isn’t a lot of time to plan. Fortunately you can find the help you need right in your smartphone.

On BuyVia.com download the BuyVia app to find the online-only Cyber Monday deals offered by your favorite retail stores. Search for the lowest prices from top retailers, and use the app’s customizable features to select items you’re looking to purchase and then receive an alert when the item goes on sale.
Cyber Monday deals and sales are of course even better when paired with a coupon code. Fortunately several retailers now allow customers to combine a coupon code with discount prices. Coupons at Checkout is a free app and one of the fastest ways to find coupon codes while you shop.
The RetailMeNot app is extremely easy to navigate. It does the work of scouring the Internet for the best deals. Just enter the retailer’s name or a specific item and the app goes to work for you, sampling over 50,000 sites for the best promotions and offers.

Cyber Monday may be great for the masses, but one group who may not look forward to the annual day of deals is employers. They certainly can expect less productivity tomorrow.
As much as 85 percent of employed Cyber Monday shoppers admit they’ll scour the Internet for deals during the work day for an average of four hours, according to a survey on RetailMeNot. Good luck, and may the best deals be had by all.
