The dancing news anchor Dan Thorn has become an online sensation this week as folks can’t get enough of his genuine attempt of having some light-hearted fun during commercial breaks by dancing. “Fox and Friends Weekend” had Dan Thorn on their show on Sunday, Nov. 9 and he did his dancing along with the hosts of the show.
The kicker was seeing Clayton Morris play the part of Dan’s uppity co-host, who is constantly seen on the YouTube videos snubbing her on-air partner from this small town TV station. Clayton got her actions down to a science, like the way she rolls her eyes and does anything not to look at Thorn in the height of his dancing antics. Clayton was hysterical!
According to Ktar.com on Nov. 8, Thorn’s dancing irritates his co-anchor who doesn’t make it a secret that this irks her to no end with the way she snubs Thorn’s antics. Sarah Pisciuneri does not look at all amused as her news partner actually has some fun while they are waiting for the commercial break to end.
This morning on “Fox and Friends Weekend” Clayton Morris played the role of Pisciuneri as the other hosts on the curvy couch danced along with Thorn. Clayton was as funny as any comedian seen on TV, he captured Pisciuneri’s on-air persona to the letter.
As seen in the above video, Thorn does this dancing often and while the camera man films him, it wasn’t done on the air live. While he does the news he is totally professional and down to earth at the same time. When the camera cuts for a commercial, Thorn breaks into dance and he also lip syncs to tunes like he is doing above to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.”
He does the same in his other videos online, like T.I.’s “Where They At Doe,” which is just plain funny. Thorn dances from his chair, but he is known to get up while cutting a rug. He picks up anything he finds on the desk and uses it as a prop while bopping to the song.
Sadly for Pisciuneri, his co-anchor on the news, she looks ridiculously snobby and entitled as she sits with a concrete grimace, rolls her eyes and looks at anything but Thorn. So what is her problem? This news duo appears totally polarized in personality as they report the news from West Virgina’s WVNS 59 News station.
Would it hurt this woman to crack a smile? In several of the videos she starts playing with her hair. At one point she is pulling at her hair so hard that it looks as if might come off in her hand. Without a doubt the body language screams anger!
