Tuesday, November 18: Joann Gibson offers Yoga for Parkinson’s, on a donation basis, every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon at Asana Studio. The class focuses on breathing, flexibility and balance, and is designed to meet individual needs.
Wednesday, November 19: Create the life you want by re-directing your mind. Margaret Johnson and Lauren Skye present Meditation for Living: New Life Skills for Everyone. This 4-week series begins this morning and again tomorrow evening at Harmony Yoga.

Thursday, November 20: The Sol Shine Yoga Studio supports the nonprofit Art from Ashes with a Thanksgiving Yoga Fundraiser this evening. Art to Ashes empowers at-risk youth through creative programs. Art from Ashes youth poets perform immediately following the donation-based, all-levels vinyasa class. You’ll have a chance to write about gratitude, so don’t forget to bring your journal and a pen.
Longtime meditation practitioner and teacher Barry Gillespie presents The Practice tonight at Asana Studio. Explore the three modes of practice in a balanced Buddhist life: on the cushion, on retreat and in the world.
