Washington, D.C.— Blue Duck Tavern’s exclusive Chef’s Table is the perfect venue to host friends for a wine dinner, throw a birthday party or hold an intimate business breakfast meeting. Situated just beyond Blue Duck Tavern’s open kitchen and main dining room, the Chef’s Table offers seating for 12 to 20 guests. Here, diners have the opportunity to gather and celebrate enjoying “off the menu” dishes that the culinary team is experimenting with for potential menu additions, and great finds the chefs are able to obtain exclusively for the private dinner. Additionally, Executive Chef Ryan LaRoche and Chef de Cuisine Brad Deboy interact with guests as they dine family-style, presenting their dishes and answering any questions one may have.
At the Chef’s Table, each menu is created specifically for the group 24 to 48 hours in advance to be able to feature the freshest seasonal ingredients sourced from local purveyors. Guests dining at the Chef’s Table will have the choice of customizing a three-course menu (starting at $85 per person, exclusive of beverages, tax and gratuity), four-course menu (starting at $100 per person, exclusive of beverages, tax and gratuity), or five-course menu (starting at $120 per person exclusive of beverages, tax and gratuity).
In addition to lunch and dinner events, one can book the Chef’s Table for breakfast. Options include a one-course “continental” family-style experience with pastries, muffins, meats and cheese, plus coffee and freshly squeezed juice, priced at $30 per person (excluding tax and gratuity), or a two-course family-style breakfast for $40 per person (excluding tax and gratuity). The two-course menu includes pastries and fresh fruit followed by a variety of hot dishes.
