You just can’t help but hum her tunes and “Shake It Up, Shake It Up.” The music of Taylor Swift is curiously contagious. The singer’s fame, friendly demeanor and timeless beauty have inspired and motivated a whole new generation of music lovers.
It is no wonder that with her quick rise to stardom at such an early age, that the GRAMMY MUSEUM® recently announced that they will be debuting ‘The Taylor Swift Experience’ on December 13, 2014. The day holds a significance that captures more than just introducing fanatic fans to an artist bursting with energy and drive. This marks the 25th birthday of a girl fast turning into a woman with plenty of wisdom and abundant ambition.
Swift is proud of her accomplishments and at only 24 years of age, she has been a seven-time GRAMMY®-winning artist. ‘The Taylor Swift Experience’ will allow all her devotees to receive an in-depth look at the artist by introducing viewers to personal photographs that have never before been seen by the public which also include home videos, interactive experiences, her own hand-written lyrics from songs that have hit the top of the charts and even some of her most iconic costumes that normally have her audiences in awe at her concerts and award ceremonies.
“Global superstar Taylor Swift is one of popular music’s biggest talents, whose music is beloved by millions of fans worldwide,” said Bob Santelli, Executive Director of the GRAMMY Museum. “The story of Taylor’s remarkable rise to super stardom is one that the GRAMMY Museum is extremely excited to tell.”
Taylor’s talents extend much further than simply being a singing sensation. She writes almost all of her own songs, serves as her own PR person, and sets the trends in fashion. Not a week goes by that we don’t see Taylor splashed across a website or a publication’s cover, recognized for her savvy sense of style in clothing, makeup, hair and then she accentuates it all with her accessories. There is absolutely no doubt that this exhibit will draw curious and enthusiastic fans ready to get to know the entrepreneur that is fast becoming a legend.
