Today Phoenix 4 Productions is reporting that filmmaker Frederick Tabiyus Nah IV will be holding the 2014 Red Carpet Premiere for his feature film ‘Breathe’ this weekend on Sunday, November 16, 2014 in Marietta, Georgia. The film consists of four controversial and seemingly isolated stories that interlock as the characters battle their own personal demons, as well as the burdens that society places on them. Frederick Tabiyus Nah IV produced and directed ‘Breathe’ from an original screenplay that he wrote himself. Nah also had a starring role in the film playing the role of James Reed. Also starring in ‘Breathe’ is Jeremy Madden as Craig London, Jeff Rose as Victor Brady, and Leah Monet Johnson as Brooke Reed. Tickets to the premiere are available at BreatheMovie.Eventbrite.com.
Frederick Tabiyus Nah IV is an accomplished director, writer, dancer, vocalist, and actor who has performed in over 55 stage and film productions. Next up for Frederick Tabiyus Nah IV and Phoenix 4 Productions is a film titled ‘Burn Down a Mountain’, which touches on human trafficking awareness. The film centers on a young boy who is sold into sexual slavery in Southeast Asia. Transported to Atlanta, he faces the silence of captivity, and the dark reality of the world’s most elusive crime. The project not only aims to bring awareness to human trafficking, but to bring freedom, in an industry that consists of over 27 million human slaves worldwide (over 100 thousand in the Unites States each year), and brings in approximately $300 million illegally to the Atlanta, GA area from sex trade. According to Frederick Tabiyus Nah IV, “the film’s title ‘Burn Down a Mountain’ is derived from the productions goal to literally, ‘burn down’ the ‘mountain’ of human slavery.” The film will be directed by Jesse Abbott and Stephanie Maley, based on Abbott’s original screenplay. Frederick Tabiyus Nah IV will produce. ‘Burn Down a Mountain’ is currently in the development stage to begin pre-production soon.
