Did you always have a career in fitness?
No, my background was in real estate and mortgages. I still don’t consider myself as a person who has a career in fitness as much as an Entrepreneur. I consider myself still a student and client of fitness. I am more of the person behind the scene.
What makes Flatstomach101.com unique in comparison to other sites out there?
We all know what to do to be healthier but the how is where most get stuck. We bring the tools to get it done. On our site anyone can upload exercise videos, anyone can share and use them. The typical site is what I call a one expert site where you go and connect with one person. Or you may have the mutli-fitness site where they have a variety of instructors writing. Our site is only exercise videos that will consist of multiple instructors, gurus and fitness enthusiast, basically anyone that wants to upload their videos. Getting fit for most of us (yes I included myself in that bunch) is not the highlight of the day. We make excuses and really try to find a reason to cheat. Now there is an online platform that makes changing your daily habit only 2 clicks away. You go to flatstomach101.com and click on the type of exercise you want to do then click the video. No cute cat videos to get you detracted or tons of other videos to wander through. I have not found another site that is fitness on command like we are.
How is Flatstomach101.com changing the lives of viewers for the better?
I feel thatflatstomach101.com will change many lives for the better. We need to be fit. We need to move. As women we focus on size however you can lose weight and still be very unhealthy. Begin thin doesn’t mean healthy and not being thin does mean unhealthy. We focus on access to fitness all day long. For example some people try to walk during lunch but now it’s raining outside no problem hop over to the site and do a 10 minute workout on lunch. If you are doing great for a few weeks then you start getting to busy you now haven’t workout for 2 weeks join our Facebook group flat stomach 101 for motivation tips and support.
How did you fall into the world of fitness and eventually become an influencer?!
I lost my mother to breast cancer and what really surprised me was the conversation my mother had with me on her first visit. It did not revolve around medical treatments but diet and exercise. We did not have any family history, my mother was not over weight and was not on any medication for any other medical issues. So you can image my surprise that the first few hours were focus on that. So if I had to pin point the one thing that really got my attention I would have to say that experience.
