After a long winter of our discontent as illustrated by the midterms elections Obama is hoping for a glorious summer by his sons. We can see his plans taking shape in the spring renewal of protests for the $15 minimum wage and the continued unrest in Ferguson. Sometimes by the same protesters he consults with like Mr. Aldridge. (Rasheen Lamont Aldridge) Using best practices learned from previous days of outrage the circus has now moved to the big city of Baltimore.
It might seem preposterous to connect the president of the United States with the burning of an American city. But we have never had a president like Obama before. As a candidate he promised to fundamentally transform the nation but left no clues as to how. Looking closely at these days of outrage as one would a crime scene a common thread emerges. The clues are there and tying together the pieces gets the big picture. That picture shows the Federal government shaping tragedies into political opportunities.
The common thread is the C.R.S. division of the Justice Department. The Community Relations Service was originally part of the Civil Rights act of 1964. Its role was greatly expanded under Obama and the Matthew Shepard hate crimes prevention act. This allowed the federal government to ignore state and local authorities and budgeted an additional $5 million. (Expanded mandate)
We can understand how the C.R.S. used this expanded power and money thru the hard work of Judicial Watch and the Freedom of information act. In March of 2012 the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman incident the month before was gaining national attention. The C.R.S deployed agents to work with marchers, demonstrators and rallies related to the shooting. Thru out the months of March and April the DOJ continued assisting protesters. In mid April they even arranged a forty mile police escort for “students” called the Dream Defenders to demand and get the resignation of the Sanford police chief. After action e-mails between C.R.S. employees congratulated each other on outstanding, behind the scenes work in Sanford. (C.R.S. Florida)
It is somewhat difficult to ascertain exactly what behind the scenes work they refer to since the CRS prides itself on conducting its activities in confidence. (As part of the most transparent administration) The only way to uncover what community services they render is if the participants reveal the tactics of the DOJ. The tactics to facilitate the development of viable, mutual understandings and solutions to the community’s challenges as the C.R.S. website claims.
That opportunity presented itself in Ferguson Missouri with the shooting of the gentile giant, Michael Brown. Not letting this new crisis go to waste C.R.S. had two conciliation specialists on the ground less than 24 hours after Mr. Brown breathed his last. (NAACP calling) They met with the Mayor to explain they were there to decide if further investigation was needed. Before the mayor returned home Eric Holder announced the investigation was underway. With a total of eight C.R.S. agents in town some met with Mr. Brown’s mother, others were responsible for community meetings. Some of these meetings involved training protesters, others the importance of voting to affect change still others were of a different sort of training.
This different sort of training involved hundreds of people. The DOJ started the meetings bragging they helped Trayvon in Florida and they were there to help them. The crowds were broken up into smaller groups to review talking points provided by the C.R.S. Talking points like “What stereotypes exists in our community”, “How does white privilege impact race relationships in our community”, or “Is there a need for personal commitment to race relations?”. They even told the mayorthat as a middle class white man he might not understand what white privilege is. (Town Meetings)
After these pep talks some of the worst rioting occurred in Ferguson. C.R.S. was in attendance since they wrote off raincoats on so as not to be uncomfortable while the town burn around them. Just after the midterms Obama met with these rioters and looters and encouraged them to stay the course.
Knowing how the DOJ was involved and what they were really doing does it give you a warm feeling to know that they showed up in Baltimore? (DOJ Baltimore) They couldn’t even wait until Freddie Gray’s body was cold by arriving on April 17, three days before his death. This gave them a week without close scrutiny for meetings, rallies and training. By the 25th the trouble started. It didn’t matter that this solidly democrat city is mainly black, with a black mayor and a black police force. The circumstances were too good to pass up. The democrat mayor Rawlings announced they would give the protesters space to vent. Knowing the consequences would be light, vent they did.
We have seen the crimes. Reviewed the evidence and the only thing left is why? What motive would Obama have for fiddling away why towns and cities burn? Could the answer be found in the DOJ statement that the Baltimore “investigation” would take 18 months? Is there anything happening that might concern Obama or America in November of 2016? Could this be one way of distracting a solid voting bloc until their illegal alien replacements are firmly in place? Making sure they don’t notice the common ethnicity of the workers who rebuild what was destroyed like in New Orleans.
Looking at the long range forecast we are in for a long hot summer. Since the election of our first minority President Race relations are at their worst. The cities are like tinderboxes while the DOJ gives camp fire lessons. How far they will spread and how long they will burn no one knows. Meanwhile in California’s Corcoran State prison Charles Manson smiles and thinks to himself, this is change I can believe in…..
