An Oregon beauty queen winner is barely recognizable in a mugshot released by the Keizer Police Department, according to a Monday, Nov. 24 report from PalmBeachPost.com. The pageant winner was arrested for meth possession last Wednesday, according to the ABC 30 report. The mugshot wasn’t released until this past weekend.
Jamie Lynn France, 23, was charged with possession of the harmful drug methamphetamine. She was also charged with possession of heroin and suboxene. The former beauty queen was arrested at a motel in Salem, Oregon along with her 37-year-old drug dealer Jarrod Wells. The cops raided the room as part of a drug bust.
Jamie was one of the three people arrested. Erin Wells was later arrested at the couple’s home a short time after. The couple already has a list of charges against them, the most recent dating back to June of this year. The threesome also faces child neglect charges since two young boys, ages 4 and 7, were at home at the time the search warrant took place, according to FOX 31 Denver.
Police found heroin and methamphetamine around the room and within reach of the two young boys. They also found a burned mattress and handheld torches insider the couple’s garage. The living conditions were described as “chaotic.”
The Keizer Police Department said in a recent statement, “The Keizer Police Department would like to take this opportunity to caution against the use of illegal controlled substances because of the terrible long-term affects to the user, their families and our communities.”
Authorities added, “We have included photographs taken both before as well as following the abuse of controlled substances for each of the people arrested in this case.”
The mugshot is reason enough alone to stay away from meth and other serious drugs. The beauty pageant winner is unrecognizable in the photo. Her face looks shrunken in, and her body is obviously skinny and malnourished. Not to mention, she has open sores around her mouth and lips.
Jarrod Wells faces charges of delivery of meth or heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, child neglect among other charges. Erin Wells faces charges of possession of meth and heroin, along with child neglect.
Jamie Lynn France was arrested earlier this year for driving under the influence. She was part of a head-on collision with another intoxicated driver back in January. She was named Miss Teen Oregon-World back in 2009. Now it looks like she’ll become one of the next “faces of meth.”
