Gabriel Cosmetics is a powerhouse, simply put. It encompasses the brands Gabriel Organics Skincare, ZuZu Luxe, and Clean Kids Naturally. If you haven’t yet tried anything from these brands, don’t fret — I have some recommendations for you today.
If you follow my articles, then you already know that I love multi-tasking my products. Gabriel Cosmetics Multi-Pot in Peony is not only a shimmery peachy pink color that goes with everything, but can be used on eyes, lips, and cheeks. This has been a lifesaver for me on rushed makeup days. I can count on it to help me look like I actually tried. Having it in pot form makes it easy to slip in my makeup bag for lip touch-ups later in the day. The texture is smooth and light enough to work in layers so I don’t end up over-applying. It also contains shea butter and jojoba seed oil for a little moisture boost.
ZuZu Luxe Shades of Nude palette features 4 shades of pigmented nude lipstick. If you have been unable to find “your” perfect nude, this palette is your solution. It comes with a handy brush for application and mixing colors, which is what I personally love to do. I also appreciate having a brush so I don’t have to use a lip liner! The texture is creamy and it leaves a little shine on the lips.
ZuZu Luxe Liquid Eyeliner in Storm is a beautiful midnight blue color. It makes my brown eyes pop! The felt tip is somewhat stiff but not scratchy, making it easy to get a perfect line on the first try. It has a slight sheen at first but quickly dries down to a matte finish. This has quickly replaced the gel liner I was previously using, for both its application and staying power. Going back to a liquid has made me realize how much I really missed it! With an eye base, it lasts all day on me.
My superstar product from this brand is the Gabriel Classic Platinum Palette. This palette is everything that Urban Decay’s Naked on the Run should have been. While I like the idea of everything in one place, not all of us want 5 different shimmery shadows with a shimmery blush and a shimmery highlight. I appreciated that Gabriel made each product in this palette matte, and mixed both warm and cool eyeshadow tones. They truly allowed this palette to be wearable by anyone at any age. It comes with 4 nude eyeshadows, a wearable terracotta toned blush, and a sheer finishing powder. The eyeshadow colors are as follows:
Bone – Neutral Ivory
Taupe – Cool Taupe/pink undertones
Caramel – Warm Brown/peach
Chocolate Brown – Warm Chocolate Brown
Each of the products in this palette have great pigmentation; I didn’t need to keep reapplying layers. I even used the Chocolate Brown color on my eyebrows! This paired with the Shades of Nude Lip Palette is all you need for a sophisticated, pulled-together look.
