“There is no mercy in you. You cut off the heads of men and women and these you wear as a garland around your neck.”
“Highway of Tears” is the November 28 episode of “Grimm.” Reminder: this article has spoilers, so read at your own risk. Be sure to check out the slideshow for more quotes from tonight’s episode. “Grimm” airs Friday nights at 8 p.m. CT on NBC.
Juliette as Adalind and Nick get it on. Thankfully, it’s not awkward. Honestly, the best part of all of this is Monroe, Rosalee, and Trubel’s reactions to it happening, and then Juliette being back. If only there was more of Trubel staying with Monroe and Rosalee.
It’s really great that Nick doesn’t immediately become a grimm. This isn’t like turning on a switch. The writers give hints that it’s working. There really isn’t a doubt that it will work. It’s just a matter of when. Were you happy with how Nick’s powers returned?
The writers played it smart by not having a huge case to go along with this. It is solved pretty quickly, and there is a nice touch of it connecting back to the first case Nick worked. He worked a Wesen case before he was a grimm.
All the case does show Nick getting his powers back. There’s nothing wrong with that. It is still a very entertaining episode. Plus, Monroe tags along because Nick still can’t see Wesen. There’s nothing wrong with more Monroe.
Trubel has a curious reaction when she learns that Nick is a Grimm again. A likely bet is that she is concerned that now she will no longer be needed, and everyone will want her to move on now that Portland has its grimm again. Why do you think Trubel had that reaction?
Josh is back! Right now, his sole purpose is comic relief. There isn’t anything new revealed about him. He still has people hunting him, and now he is at Nick’s. Seeing as how he isn’t a huge part of the episode, it’s fine that all he does is offer up some comedy.
The royals storyline is thankfully very short. Adalind catches them up on Nick’s mom, and they all piece together that she has Adalind’s baby. It’s fine. Nothing riveting happens, but at least the storyline doesn’t reappear throughout the episode.
Honestly, what is going to be really exciting is whenever Kelly pops back up because the royals and Elizabeth will be going after her. It could be really fun to watch. Anytime all the storylines converge, things are about to go down.
What did you think of the episode? Will Nick finally come clean to Wu? He doesn’t have the excuse that he is no longer a grimm anymore. Leave me your thoughts in a comment below.
