This is a very happy ending update on Sweet Nicholas, the kitty in North Carolina who took an unplanned ride attached to the front grill of a car. Thanks to a lot of people working together to save his life, Nicholas has healed, and is now in his forever home.
NC cat embedded in grill of a car after being hit needs medical donations
Adopted by by Marilyn and Bobby Barns at the Happy St. Puddys’s Day adoption event at the Concord Tractor Supply Company by Marilyn and Bobby Barns, Nicholas will now be cherished by this family, including their daughter and grandson.
Marilyn said when Nicholas was first released from his crate at his new home, he jumped up on the bed and stretched out. Word has it he’s going to be very spoiled from here on out.
The photo shows Jimmie Hoffman (from Cabarrus TNR and Friends for Life) who fostered Nicholas through his whole recovery, Marilyn and her husband Bobby Barns and their daughter and grandson.
Have a happy life Nicholas! You’ve come a long way and have definitely earned that soft bed you claimed.
Another adoption event is planned at Tractor Supply Company in Concord March 28 and March 29 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.
