Fewer mysteries surrounding CW Network’s “Arrow/Flash” spinoff series causes progression into an effectual best kept secret. Not that this latter bit of casting news gives clarifying conclusions. Alone the mystery men’s roster that includes Atom and Rip Hunter only adds to engrossing DC Entertainment’s TV fanbase. But what takes flight at upper heights close to the project’s mystery production simplifies from the wingless trajectory away given “Supergirl” is going to CBS instead of CW does give opportunity to swoop in a highlight look at the winged arrival of Hawkgirl. A character that diversely furthers the deconstruction of the categorical mystery man casting.

Kendra Saunders, an alias that once donned the Hawkgirl costume and moniker in DC Comics, is a character headlining CW’s untitled superhero series, according to Deadline. Actress Ciara Renee will portray Saunders/Hawkgirl, joining a line-up blending former actors from either “Flash” to “Arrow” or newcomers altogether.
Renee lists along with Arthur Darvill (“Dr. Who”) being new to CW’s current hit super series. Darvill will play time-traveling adventurer/engineer Rip Hunter.
Alums out the ongoing shows by executive producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Sarah Schechter and Andrew Kreisberg includes the hero-starring actors Brandon Routh (“Scott Pilgrim vs. the World”, “Chosen”), Caity Lotz (“Mad Men”, “The Machine”) and Victor Garber (“Alias”, “Argo”). While Garber has been seen on “The Flash” and “Superhero Fight Club” with Routh, Lotz had the pivotal and popular recurring role Sarah Lance a.k.a. Black Canary on “Arrow”. Best known for inclusion into the Clark Kent/Superman live action pantheon, Routh has portrayed Ray Palmer/Atom on both series showcasing the Scarlet Speedster and Green Arrow.
The Pennsylvania-native will be the second to assume a Hawkgirl role on CW. Renee succeeds the live action take on the Justice League member from Sahar Biniaz during a “Smallville” special episodes of superstar comics writer Geoff Johns (“The Flash”, “Arrow”) written “Legion”. In the comics, Saunders is an alias having lineage to the original and reincarnating superheroinne Hawkgirl.
Deadline also reports that the role has a similar adaptation. Screen Rant reports that the spinoff series has a time-travel basis.
Villains slated for the pilot summons further reprisals. “Flash’ baddies Captain Cold and Heatwave respectively brings in Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell into the casting.
The untitled “Arrow/Flash” Spinoff will air its pilot in 2015.
