Until now no one has referred to Vodka as the blueberry or any other super fruit for that matter. But Vodka like most other alcohol has health benefits. This being party time all over the world there will be many who choose to imbibe. While you’re skipping to light fantastic all over town here are some good reasons to choose this much loved liquor.
Go Zen
Like most other forms of spirits Vodka can help to reduce stress but in a study published by the Journal of Abnormal Psychology it was found that of the participants that received a one to five mixture of 100 proof vodka and tonic there was a lower response to stress on brain scans. But there attention span was lower than those giving a placebo. So it’s probably best to experience the benefits of this spirit while safely tucked away at home.
Less Flab
Consuming alcohol isn’t usually beneficial to our waistline so if you are going to indulge this might be the way to go. Comparatively it contains about 64 calories per ounce and is free of carbs, while beer has well over 100 calories and is nothing but carbs. UGH!
Ticker Health
Though many published reports have touted the effects of alcohol and the heart vodka specifically helps oxygen to your ticker. Vodka can help to provide more pathways for oxygen and lessens your risk of developing hardened arteries.
