The sixth annual Toy Sale on December 7th was a huge success. Over 1,300 dollars was raised for Hope’s Front Door. The sale enabled the clients of HFD and other local ministries to maintain a sense of dignity while they purchased Christmas gifts for their kids.
Our thanks go out to the many people of St. Scholastica who contributed toys, games, books, etc. A special thanks to Trinity Lutheran for the two large boxes that were overflowing with toys. Over sixty middle school students, a dozen high school students and a dozen of the young adults from St. Scholastica did a great job with the set up and the sale according to Janell Robinson, Director at HFD.

Just being able to use the grocery vouchers for food and laundry detergent is a blessing! The vouchers received have helped in some very lean times when I have had limited income. You go to Hopes Front Door and you are embraced, the volunteers do not treat you like you are beneath them.- Amy
