Inter-Campus Bikeway connects the University at Buffalo north campus with the south campus of the School of Public Health and Health Professions. Although the bikeway links the two campuses it is not restricted to U. of B. students, other bikers may use it. The bikeway is called Inter-Campus Bikeway due to function.
Inter-Campus Bikeway is located in Buffalo operating from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, April 1 – November 1. The bikeway’s southern end is at, the southwest corner of Main Street and Bailey Avenue, University at Buffalo south campus.
Heading north it crosses Main Street, Bailey Avenue, to Crosby Circle. Drive down Crosby Circle to Hendricks Blvd, then north to Maynard Drive. North on Maynard Drive to Stevenson Blvd then northeast to Rosedale Drive to Eggert Road. At the intersection of Eggert Road and Sweet Home Road head north to Maple Road. From the intersection of Maple Road at Sweet Home Road head north to Rensch Road.
University at Buffalo north campus is the site of the university’s core academic programs in suburban Amherst. Its 125 buildings of state of the art academic, research studies, residence halls, apartments, Student Union, athletic venues and administrative offices. It was first opened in the early 1970’s it was built to complement the environment and green spaces.
University at Buffalo south campus is 5 miles southwest of the University at Buffalo north campus. The south campus is located in a picturesque residential neighborhood with classic ivy covered buildings and dormitories. It is a landmark of western New York that dates back to the 1920’s.
This south campus is home for the School of Public Health and Health Professions. This includes the schools of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Dental Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and Nursing, the schools of Architecture and Planning. Its address is Kimball Tower, 401 Goodyear Road, Buffalo, NY.
Grover Cleveland Park has Grover Cleveland Golf Course, an 18-hole golf course. There is a practice putting green, men’s and ladies locker rooms, Clubhouse and a food concession. It is located across the street from the south campus of University of Buffalo, and north of the VA Hospital Buffalo. The uniqueness the course stresses is accuracy instead of distance. Its smaller bunkered greens reward a precise iron game.
University of Buffalo is a 1 hour drive of 69 miles from Rochester NY. Drive I-90 west nearing Buffalo follow on US 290 to exit 7A drive Main Street (route 5) west to Bailey Ave. (Route 62). The bikeways southern end starts at the intersection on the north side of the street.
