At 5 feet 11 inches tall, Taylor Swift’s statuesque figure is noticeable a mile away. And she works hard to keep up her lean figure without sacrificing the foods she loves. Taylor stresses that being thin or weighing a certain amount is not important, but eating healthy and living a fit lifestyle are key. Keeping up with a routine, eliminating stress, and drinking plenty of water are some tips she shared with WebMD on following a healthy lifestyle.
To keep in shape, Taylor does a number of 60 minute cardio sessions on a treadmill or elliptical a week no matter where she is. And by eating light during the week and avoiding bad sugars and carbohydrates, Taylor makes room for fun indulgences on the weekends. During the week she enjoys lower calorie foods from all the food groups including whole grains, lean meats, fruit and yogurt.
Rick Ross Diet
The southern rapper recently dropped over 100 pounds by doing Crossfit and incorporating more fruits and vegetable in his diet. Ross said he too did not give up the foods he loves the most, like lemon pepper wings and fried oreos, just enjoyed them less and in moderation.
With the new lifestyle change, Rick Ross lessened his alcohol consumption and gave up bad carb foods like white rice, fish fillets and bread in favor of healthier carbohydrates. He also performed 20 minute Crossfit sessions almost daily to build extra muscle to help shred fat. He added heaping portions of fruits and vegetables to his diet to eat next to some of his favorite foods. Pears and kale are new favorites in Ross’s lifestyle change, and the private chef finds tasty ways to add other nutritious items to the menu. The rapper also feels that drinking plenty of water helps when trying to lose weight, and have a work out buddy or two, or a dozen, keeps up motivation.
Kate Middleton Diet
Diet like a duchess and get your body ready for the beach! Kate Middleton slimmed down before walking down the aisle by following the strict Dukan diet. The diet works in four stages where you start off by restricting certain foods and then slowly adding them back in as the weeks go on.
Phase one is the “attack,” phase where you eat nothing but protein for the first four to six days. Next is the “cruise,” phase where you can eat vegetables but only on certain days. The third stage is, “consolidation,” where you start to add back some fruits, carbohydrates and cheese. “Permanent Stabilization,” is the fourth and final phase where you continue to follow this new lifestyle change from now on, and go back to the “attack,” stage once a week.
Beyonce and hubby Jay-Z recently completed a 22 day detox-like vegan diet where they ate just a plant based foods. The diet is based on the notion that it takes 21 days to break any habit and form a new routine. Her personal trainer, Marco Borges, created a weekly diet and workout plan for the pop and R&B superstar. The plan consisted of daily exercises that work a number of muscle groups at once. The diet consisted of vegetarian meals and lots of green, leafy vegetables. Beyonce also credits lemon and cayenne, and replacing a meal with a protein shake for quick weightloss. Beyonce dropped a total of 57 pounds after giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy by following this regimen
Lebron James Diet
The 6 feet 8 inches tall basketball hunk recently managed to get even hotter after a 67 day fast of eliminating processed sugars, bad carbs and dairy and by only eating lean meats, fish, vegetables and fruits. The diet is called the, “Lebron12,” named for the period of training before entering his 12th NBA season. The meal plan has a number of tasty and filling items like the arugula salad with chicken, strawberries, mango, cashews and olive oil.
