When it comes to resolutions, so often they get broken because they are not supported by the lifestyle you already keep. Gardening is a great way to ensure a foundation that will make sure you succeed. Whether you are an old timer gardener or just beginning, it is important to grow things you can eat as well as things just for beauty. Here are a few things you can grow that will help you maintain a healthy body weight, clearer mind, healthier immune function and so much more.
1. Grow fruit. Whether you want to grow your own fruit trees or just a few raspberries or strawberries, there are always new varieties to ensure you are successful. The rewards are endless. From smoothies to facial creams, fruit is a fantastic way to boost internal and external health.
2. Grow your own tea bushes. Yes you can grow your own black and green tea from the same plant. The only thing you need to understand is that green tea is the earlier harvested leaves. If you like your tea stronger, just wait a while and harvest the older leaves. Viola! You just gained a ton of health benefits as well as a beautiful hedge in your yard to enjoy.
3.Grow any vegetable you like. When growing a garden, whether in pots, in the windowsill or a plot in the back yard, it’s impossible to get fat eating these healthy treats. Grow up and enjoy!
These are just a few things you can grow in your own backyard, windowsill or pot that will ensure you always have what you need fresh, in the freezer or canned in a jar to make your health, weight and beauty goals a reality. No longer will you have to depend on minimally stocked organic sections of the produce or freezer sections for healthy choices or those over priced jars of facial creams to ensure beautiful skin and hair. It’s never too early to start planning a garden.
