A tragic accident stole the lives of Isaac and Yesenia Quintero this past Saturday afternoon as their automobile was struck by another vehicle near 220 East Frontage Road. The Quinteros were traveling southbound when the other car veered off from I-55 and hit them according to a news report files by ABC-7 Chicago.
The four-year-old daughter, Joslyn, survived the accident but has already undergone two major surgeries and is still fighting for her life. On top of the injuries, the little girl will have to be told that her mother and brother are dead.
According to one quote on Patch.com, “Yesenia and Isaac are remembered by family and friends as the wonderful, loving and sweet people that they were. They have left us with great memories that will never fade; full of laughter, love and overall pure happiness.”
Accidents are tough at any rate, but when the lives of two really young individuals are taken in an accident it is really hard to take. Yesenia was a young mother that was only 25-years-old. Her baby boy wan only two.
Besides their early deaths, the remaining family will be liable for the care for Joslyn, which will be outlandish. The accident is still under investigation, so for now the family is responsible for all the debt.
To help them with the mounting hospital bills, funeral expenses, and of course attorney fees, supporters have started an online GoFundMe campaign. This fundraiser will help pay for Joslyn’s care and help to support the Quintero and Manzanares families during this period of tragic loss.
GoFundMe is a crowdfunding platform designed by a company based in San Diego, California. It allows people to raise money for events such as this challenging situation that will help Danny Quintero pay for the mounting bills his young family has due to this tragic accident.
That is why the Quintero and Manzanares families are hoping that the public will look deep into their philanthropic hearts and lend them a financial hand. This way they will be able to properly mourn the loss of Danny’s wife, the Manzanares’ daughter, their beautiful son/grandson and a friend to so many.
