Satisfy your sweet tooth by attending the 4th Annual Sweet Tooth Festival on Sunday, March 22nd. The festival is a true chocolate experience where you will not only be mesmerized by Charlotte’s finest chocolate purveyors, but you will see, smell, and taste an incredible variety of chocolate cupcakes, candies, cookies, and brownies. Can you even image being completely surrounded by nothing but decadent chocolate delights and creations?
The Sweet Tooth Festival is a charity event being held to support RAIN (Regional Aids Interfaith Network,) which helps to break the stigma of HIV and AIDS. The network provides services to HIV+ youth, adults and seniors in the Charlotte area including education, self-management training, and helps connect clients with housing, medication, treatment and other resources.
The chocolaty sweet event will be held from 2-5pm on Saturday, March 22, 2015 at Omni Charlotte Hotel located at 132 E. Trade Street. Tickets are on sale for $20 which allows you to sample 15 items or a $30 ticket will give you access to all samples. There will also be goodie bags, a lounge and a photo booth to capture the fun. There will also be to-go containers in case you succumb to a sugar coma and can’t consume all of your delights during the festival.
There are several parking options if you plan to attend. The Uptown parking meters are free on Sundays, or you may park in the BB&T garage for a flat rate of $6 or at the Bank of America Plaza for $6 per hour up to a maximum of $20.
There are only 300 tickets available for purchase, so don’t miss out by waiting too long. You may purchase your ticket at the Sweet Tooth Festival website.
