The Roar Before the Rolex 24 – Friday through Sunday, January 9th through 11th, at Daytona International Speedway, featuring the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge. The weekend practice session in advance of the Rolex 24 at Daytona, Saturday and Sunday, January 24th and 25th, gives fans a chance to go behind-the-scenes with tours, fan forums, tech talks and more – find a complete schedule of events here. Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals – Tuesday through Saturday, January 13th through 17th at Tulsa Expo Raceway in Oklahoma. More than 300 drivers are signed up for this premier indoor midget race, including names like Sammy and Kevin Swindell (with a total of nine wins between them), Kenny Wallace, J.J. Yeley, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Chad Boat, Joey Saldana, Dominic Scelzi, Daryn Pittman, Tracy Hines and Kyle Larson. PRO Winter Warm-up – Friday and Saturday, January 16th and 17th at Palm Beach International Raceway in Florida. NHRA Top Fuel and Funny Car teams head to Florida for the fifth annual practice session under the lights at PBIR; the event also features Jet Dragsters for the first time. Expected to participate (subject to change) are all seven Don Schumacher Racing teams, Doug Kalitta of Kalitta Motorsports, Larry Dixon and Dave Connolly of Bob Vandergriff Racing, and Leah Pritchett of Dote Racing. Two-day spectator tickets are $50 for adults, $25 for kids 6 to 12 and free for kids 5 and under; gates open at 3 p.m. ET, with racing from 5 to 7 p.m. each night – find more information at racepbir.com.
Rolex 24 at Daytona – Thursday through Sunday, January 22nd through 25th at Daytona International Speedway. The longest event on the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship celebrates its 53rd anniversary, with the green flag at 2:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, January 24th and the checkered at 2:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, January 25th. NASCAR Hall of Fame Induction and Fan Appreciation Day – Friday and Saturday, January 30th and 31st at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina. Celebrate a new induction class as Bill Elliott, Wendell Scott, Rex White, Fred Lorenzen and Joe Weatherly join the Hall of Fame on Friday – tickets for the ceremony are $45 and $80 per person. On Saturday, Fan Appreciation Day includes free admission to the Hall of Fame from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, driver question-and-answer sessions and driver autograph sessions.
