DENVER – It’s time for the latest freebies, deals and coupons. As always, these deals can and do expire quickly. And always call your local store or restaurant before you go, to make sure they are participating in the offer.
Groupon is offering an extra 10 to 20 percent off Monday and Tuesday. Use code SALE3 to get 20 percent off on up to 3 local deals, an extra 10% off on up to 3 goods deals and an extra 10% off on up to 3 getaways deals. Offer ends Tuesday (April 28).
Cirque du Soleil returns to Denver in June with Kurios. Living Social is offering a ticket deal with prices starting at $44 for a PL-2 ticket and $54 for a PL-1 ticket. That appears to be a good savings because on the Cirque website, price level 1 tickets are $91-$101 and price level 2 tickets are $74-84.
However, there are slightly cheaper seats available for the show. Price level four tickets on the Cirque website are $42 to $52.
Olive Garden is continuing its $5 unlimited soup, salad and breadstick deal this week. Offer valid Monday through Friday until 4 p.m. with a coupon from Olive Garden’s website. Offer ends Friday (May 1).
Mad Greens is opening a new location on Tuesday (April 28) with a deal. Get a regular-sized salad with chicken, if desired, and a drink, in return for a donation to nearby Arapahoe Ridge Elementary School. The new location is at 1181 W. 120th Ave, near 120th Avenue and Huron Street. The opening day offer is good from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Buy any dozen doughnuts and get a dozen original glazed doughnuts for free on Tuesday (April 28) at Krispy Kreme. It appears not coupon is needed. The offer is on Krispy Kreme’s Facebook page.
Buy a 96 ounce Joe-to-go and get a dozen donuts free on Tuesday (April 28). Offer valid at participating locations.
Play ideas for cheap

Discount cat adoptions
Adopt a cat, 6 months and up, from the Foothills Animal Shelter and get 75% off. You get a deal and your cat still gets sprayed/neutered, certain shots, a microchip and a vet visit.
The Dumb Friends League is offering cats, ages 1-7 years old, for $10 and waiving all fees for cats that are 8 years and older.
Home improvement rebates

Denver Water is offering rebates if you buy certain WaterSense-labeled toilets, Rotary/high-efficiency sprinkler nozzles or WaterSense-labeled smart sprinkler system controllers.
