In the meantime, a Justice for Tiger supporter reached out to Greenville Cats Examiner to post a message to the office of District Attorney, as her comment keeps getting removed on articles she’s posted to.
Rae Kelly of Tougher Laws 4 Paws – California has given permission for the entirety of how she feels authorities in Austin County, Texas have handled the case where Kristen Lindsey posted a photo on Facebook, bragging about the killing of a beloved family cat
“Dear District Attorney Koehn,
Please, explain to me why two accessories to alleged animal cruelty that can be prosecuted as both a misdemeanor and a felony were free to go before the investigation was even completed and handed to your office? Where is your suspect? Where is the cat body? Where is the photographic device that took this picture for Facebook? Where is your indictment?
I don’t see any news of an indictment. I don’t see any statements whatsoever from your office on this matter at all.
Respectfully….what the heck is wrong with you over there?
Have you EVER prosecuted an animal cruelty case? Because I can’t find one listed for your office. This is your first case in 26 years as a prosecutor???
Truly, Dismayed, Disgusted and Concerned.
Tougher Laws 4 Paws – California”
Those who are enraged at the killing of a family pet, and want to have their voice heard before it’s too late, are urged to contact the Austin County District Attorney’s Office and tell them how disgusted you are with the actions of Kristen Lindsey. Their office should be flooded with calls, emails and faxes.
