Will fans see more Kate Gosselin drama on the upcoming season of “Celebrity Apprentice” on NBC? On Dec. 1, NBC released a new preview for the upcoming season, and it looks like Kate is not the only drama causer on the series this time around. This new season, which will premiere on Jan. 4, features Kevin Jonas, Lorenzo Lamas, Terrell Owens, Geraldo Rivera, Vivica A. Fox and Ian Ziering, Kenya Moore, and Brandi Glanville.
The new preview gives viewers just a taste of the drama and mayhem coming up on the new season. There is one moment during the brief clip that shows Vivica Fox making a comment against one of the other female contestants. The reason for the comment was not revealed. Gilbert Gottfried and Geraldo Rivera will have their own issues. It does appear that there will be many problems between the members of the celebrity cast, but that is not unusual. Fighting is common on “Celebrity Apprentice.”
As for Kate Gosselin, she has been known to cause drama in the past, but the star of “Kate Plus 8” has spoken out about her role on the series, and she tried to assure everyone that she will not be the source of any drama. She said the following, according to The Spread It:
“I am a strong personality. But I think what definitely will come out here is that I’m not a pot stirrer, I’m definitely not a drama-starter. Drama gets in the way of getting work done…And, you know, that’s probably going to be surprising to a lot of people. Clearly there’s a lot of drama in my life caused by others, but I’m in the business —instead of stirring it — of calming it down and putting on the lid.”
Gosselin has made it clear that she plans to learn all she can during the experience. She feels like she runs her own business at home; as she takes care of her eight children, but Trump has a different take on the business world. During the season, Gosselin will represent Camp Barnabas. For the filming of the series, the mother of eight had to leave her children, but she revealed that they were “supportive” of her appearance on the reality series.
The upcoming season of “Celebrity Apprentice” will also feature an appearance by Joan Rivers. The late actress died after filming two episodes for the upcoming season, and Trump decided to keep the actress’ appearance for the series. She replaced his daughter as a judge on the panel. He spoke out about her appearance when he announced the cast in November. He said the following on “The Today Show” about Rivers:
“Physically she was great, but she had an amazing mental strength. I saw her a few days before she passed away, and I want to tell you, I said, ‘She’s going to live forever.’ You looked at her — she was so strong and so vibrant. We decided, in memoriam, we’re going do something and honor her during those two shows. She was so good, and I think she would have liked it that way.”
This new season of “Celebrity Apprentice” is promising to be drama filled. The new clip promoting the series makes that clear from the first moment. Fans will need to tune on Jan. 4 to find out if Kate Gosselin is the source of any of the drama to come. . Her past behavior has shown otherwise, but Kate will be surrounded by people with strong personalities. This will definitely set of fireworks when the series premieres next month.
