Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide unveiled the final phase of renovations at Le Westin Resort & Spa, Tremblant in a press release Tuesday. The renovations encompassed the entire property, from the 122 guest rooms and suites to function spaces and public areas. The $5 million renovation has been completed just in time for the 2014/2015 ski season.
“We congratulate the team on the completion of the significant enhancements at Le Westin Resort & Spa, Tremblant, a world renowned destination where guests enjoy superb access to incredible skiing, golf, upscale shops, dining and entertainment,” said John Crouch, Senior Director of Operations for Starwood Hotels & Resorts. “Le Westin Resort & Spa, Tremblant appeals to guests seeking to recharge and revitalize with the help of the Westin brand’s signature programs and amenities, designed to send them home feeling better than when they arrived.”
While the final phase has been unveiled, there are also a few “very final” touches which are forthcoming, including the installation of a “living wall” behind the front desk. The living wall is becoming a Westin brand standard for lobby concepts and is designed to “improve indoor air quality” and “create a calming, more natural environment.”
Guest rooms continue to feature Westin’s Heavenly Bed™, but the design elements have been softened with “calming, tonal colors”, wood accents, and panoramic views. New furnishings and amenities have also been added to the refreshed spaces. Over 4000 square feet of function space has been included in the renovation.
In addition to the lobby spaces and guest rooms, a new dining concept is also available. Named the Gypsy Restaurant and Lounge, the dining outlet will feature Spanish-inspired Mediterranean cuisine including tapas and paellas. The bar program will include seasonal cocktail selections with house-made infusions. Gypsy is open daily from 7AM to 10PM and also offers vegetarian and children’s menus.
To celebrate the completion of renovations, the hotel is offering discounts for stays through December 18, which include complimentary late checkout and additional Starwood Preferred Guest bonus points. Members and non-members can book online or call 866-716-8101 and ask for rate code WRLCH14.
