Before there was Elsa, Anna, Merida, Ariel, Jasmine and Belle…there was Cinderella.
The 1950 Disney classic has influenced girls for decades and still serves as the epitome of the quintessential princess.
For many of us, we may have felt our days of being a princess are over, until now.
Our Fairy Godmother aka MAC cosmetics has teamed up with Disney with a limited-edition collection dedicated to the remake of Cinderella. The periwinkle packaging is reminiscent of Cinderella’s famous dress she wears to the ball to nab her prince.
Whether you’re getting ready to run errands or get ready for a hot-date, you can now feel like Cinderella.
The brand’s press release says it all in this statement: “Timeless and courageous, the most famous Disney princess of all inspires a limited-edition colour collection magical enough to make all your fairytale dreams come true. Beloved for generations for her kind heart and determined mind that dares to dream, Cinderella envisages enough makeup shades to fill a pumpkin carriage.”
The products are available online on February 26th and in stores on March 5th.
The line contains lipsticks, glosses, eyeshadows and liners, pressed powder, mascara, and makeup brushes with names appropriate for the film.
The color palette stays true to the makeup Cinderella wears in the animated film.
