We are all overcome with our looks. Both women and men share the same adjectives when our looks are on the negative side. Ugly, homely, fat, skinny, are just a few adjectives we share. In fact, however many negative adjectives there are, both genders share an equal amount. But when it comes to the positive adjectives, women seem to carry more adjectives. Beautiful, pretty, gorgeous, lovely, angelic, good looking, are just a few of the adjectives they carry. On the other hand, men have handsome, good looking, studly, and that’s about it. That’s it. Men either are better looking in the human species, or we need some serious help.
Women on the other hand, have more adjectives to lean on, or does it mean they desperately need more help in the looks department? After all, they seem to have to wear cosmetics, do up their hair, wear girdles and other form compressing devices, as well as enhancement clothes and surgeries. All that to make themselves more attractive to the male gender. Men do not have to go through all that. Women like men when they muscular or just plain good looking. Men don’t have to do a whole lot to impress the female sex. At least that give us guys more time for sports.
Fortunately for everybody, God does not care about all that frivolous, vain, visual aspect of our lives. He looks on the inside, He looks at our spirit, He looks at our heart, and He looks at our soul. After all, He created us, after His own image, in His own likeness. What draws us together with Him is our inward selves carry all the attributes of God. Without those attributes, God will be attracted to us, or be repulsed. If we have all the Godly attributes within us, our lives would be less complicated and more productive. We would be more properly attractive to each other. We may even think our good looks gets everything, but it will not get us into Heaven. Only our inward appearance can get us into heaven, or it could get us into Hell. We choose what our eternal destiny will be by our inward appearance.
The next time you are worried about how your outward appearance could attract the opposite sex to you, consider how more attractive you will be if your inward appearance shines through. If we have to depend on outwardly looks, ugly or good looking, we could not get to heaven. But that won’t happen. If we are ugly on the inside, we will go to hell. If we are beautiful, then we will get into heaven. There no ugly spirits in Heaven. Something to ponder.
