The Predators vs. Blackhawks live stream and TV coverage for Game 6 of the 2015 NHL Playoffs will be featured Saturday night in a busy sports day. In this first round series, Chicago has a 3-2 lead, with the Predators in another “must-win” game. They’ll need to snag a win away from home in order to send this series to a decisive Game 7. The televised and live streaming online coverage will be shown thanks to NBC Sports networks on Saturday evening.
An April 25 ESPN.com report notes that Filip Forsberg was the hero for Nashville in Game 5 as he scored the hat trick to keep the Predators from being eliminated. Now his team will need two more victories to move on to the next round and defeat a team that was just one goal away from last season’s Stanley Cup finals. Unfortunately for Forsberg and Nashville, they’ll be without the services of Shea Weber, who is out for the rest of the series due to injury. The Predators will also need to find a way to score on rookie goalie Scott Darling.
Playing exceptionally well for his first playoffs series, Darling had managed to stop 127 of 131 shots by the Predators prior to Game 5. Darling was brought into the game back in the first meeting in the series to relieve usual Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford. In Game 5, Nashville managed to score five times on the rookie including the hat trick by Forsberg. Chicago will try to close things out tonight, and it could very well be thanks to points series leader Jonathan Toews, and also Patrick Sharp who has two goals. To stay alive, Nashville may need more help from leading scorer Colin Wilson, who has five goals in the series and five points, so far.
The Blackhawks will be strong favorites with a moneyline price of -150 or -160 at several books for tonight’s game. As the underdogs, Nashville is available for bettors at prices of +135 to +145 depending on the book. The goals total for the game has been bumped up to a 5-1/2 goals over/under based on the previous contests. Pekka Rinne and Scott Darling are both expected to mind the nets for their respective clubs.
Saturday’s Predators vs. Blackhawks Game 6 gets started at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Live television coverage is available on NBC for cable and satellite viewers around the United States. The live streaming online feed is available through the NBC Sports Live Extra website and apps. There’s also live audio coverage for Sirius XM radio subscribers on channel 211 or internet channels 927 and 937 for the home and away coverage..
