According Comic Book Movie on Sunday, it appears that there’s a special George Lucas edition of the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” trailer that showed up online and yet another spoof of repeated amounts of John Boyegas as a stormtrooper in a sweaty, hectic state of mind. There have been tons of “Star Wars” parodies online since the release of the real teaser that have developed within days of it’s release on Friday. Prior to the spoofs, a rather convincing trailer was put together by a fan which fooled a lot of people into thinking it was the real deal.
In the clip, there are repeated takes of Boyega popping up in the beginning scene of the trailer and then repeats thereafter in other parts of the clip. One may say this is a great way for Boyega to get exposure as an actor attempting to move up in the business, even if it means moving up more than one time as he did in the original trailer.
Another interesting spoof was yet another clip that touted itself as “Star Wars: The Force Awakens – George Lucas’ Special Edition.” It was an altered clip of the trailer adding Jabba the Hutt, dewback creatures, Jango Fett among the new model of storm troopers, and so forth. One may say the most incredible portion of that trailer was the Millennium Falcon taking on a lot more TIE Fighters. Even a near verbatim Lego version of the trailer made its way online for Lego fans to enjoy.
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” opens in theaters come Dec. 18, 2015.
