barmini: Starting at 9:00pm, the barmini New Year’s Eve Party, $275 including tax & gratuity, will feature a progression of Golden Era cocktails, both classic and modern, accompanied by savory snacks. Black Jack: On New Year’s Eve, Black Jack will be channeling New Orleans with a Mardi Gras masquerade theme, a DJ, and no cover charge. Revelers can enjoy drinks from bar manager E. Jay Apaga’s newest cocktail menu, which includes seasonal libations like the festive DC75, with Green Hat Gin, Hum Botanical Spirit, Lemon, and sparkling brut or the Perfect 10 Hot Toddy with Knob Creek Rye, Honey, Allspice, Clove, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Ginger, Mace, Nutmeg, and Cayenne Pepper.
Blue Duck Tavern Lounge: Ring in 2015 with live music featuring Karla Chisholm, a premium open bar, plus seasonal small plates and sweets, and Champagne toast at midnight, for $185 which includes tax and tip. Contact Blue Duck Tavern for reservations for this event, which runs from 9pm to 2am.
Masa 14: Indulge in a three course menu for $55, which features dishes like a mushroom flatbread, lo mein, crispy tofu, salads, and more. Champagne is available by the glass or bottle!
Republic: Republic in Takoma Park will usher in the New Year with a “party like it’s 1999,” theme featuring a DJ playing ’90’s hits, a dance floor, and a midnight sparkling wine toast. The restaurant will also be accepting dinner reservations from 5pm until 9pm that evening.
Sonoma Wine Bar: Step into a night of great food, drinks, and music in Sonoma’s dining room, bar, and second floor lounge at their Winter White NYE Party There’s no cover charge from 7am to 1am you can enjoy unlimited wine, beer, and cocktails from one of their packages. You can also come in earlier for dinner, and enjoy a four course menu with optional wine pairings.
Zaytinya: Savor Greek, Turkish and Lebanese mezze from Head Chef Michael Costa along with a festive selection of specialty cocktails, champagne and sparkling wines. Seating starts at 8:45pm and offers a choice of two special menus: Zaytinya Classics, for $70 or Chef’s Experience, for $90. You will also enjoy party favors, a complimentary midnight toast, live DJ and a take-home gift from Zaytinya for a sweet start to the New Year.
