Nintendo is doing April Fool’s Day a little differently this year, as they will be streaming a Nintendo Direct to give fans some real news and details on upcoming titles.
The Direct, scheduled for April 1, will begin at 3 p.m. PT, 6 p.m. ET. According to Nintendo it will feature the latest information on future Wii U and 3DS titles.
Following the presentation, Nintendo Treehouse will be streaming gameplay on one of Nintendo’s spring releases. More than likely this will be either Splatoon or Yoshi’s Woolly World.
In addition to getting some new looks at Splatoon and Yoshi’s Woolly World, it is incredibly likely that we finally get a bit more information on the Mewtwo DLC for Super Smash Bros. as well as the second iteration of the Mario Kart DLC. After the recent news of Wii U’s The Legend of Zelda getting delayed, it seems doubtful there we will see any info on that title.
Check back here tomorrow following the Nintendo Direct for analysis on all of the biggest news.
