Anyone who has ever been involved with NoDa Brewing Company knows how generous they are to our local community. During the month of March, NoDa Brewing made a major campaign to raise money for the Isabella Santos Foundation.
Teaming up with Woody and Wilcox of 106.5 The End for Beers for a Cure, $1 from every pint of Woody & Wilcox IPA sold during the month of March was donated. The tap room at NoDa Brewing and Twin Peaks in Concord were involved, plus a special Beer Club event that Woody and Wilcox hosted.
The Carolina BrewMasters hosted an event at NoDa Brewing for their club members during the month and also participated in raising money for ISF. The homebrewers were able to brew with the NoDa Brewing staff for an enjoyable educational event. NoDa also donated hops to a raffle at the event, which raised an additional couple hundred dollars.
The Isabella Santos Foundation located in Waxhaw, raises money for children with cancer. After the loss of Isabella, the dream is that her fight will change the outcome for other children. Isabella always dreamed of a world with “No More Cancer.” The Foundation continues in her name, hoping another child will be saved through funds raised in Isabella’s memory.
This is not the first time that NoDa Brewing has supported the ISF. Last summer there was a Charlotte Hounds Zero K, where there was a large party surrounding taking a lap around the stadium before getting to see the game.
