On Sunday, “Once Upon a Time” was one of the popular shows that did not air due to ABC airing the American Music Awards. However, next Sunday the fairy tale drama will return. The episode after that is the winter finale. What can fans expect on “Once Upon a Time” season 4, episodes 10 and 11? On Nov. 24, International Business Times revealed some “OUAT” spoilers for the next two episodes.
Jennifer Morrison and Colin O’Donoghue, who star on “Once Upon a Time” as Emma and Hook, spoke to ET Online about the show. Morrison said that things are just going to get more intense. The Snow Queen is trying to get Emma and Elsa ingrained in her life. She has this plan of getting rid of everyone except Emma and Elsa, who the Snow Queen hopes will replace the sisters that she lost. Morrison said,
“She’s clearly not well. She’s extreme about it, and so we realize how intricate her plan has been, and how far back her plan goes. It’s all coming to a head at this point.”
Things are not going to get any easier in “Once Upon a Time” season 4, episode 10. The actress revealed that next Sunday, the characters will still be trying to overcome the big picture. Even though they are winning some battles, they feel like they are losing the war. As for episode 11, Morrison added that there will continue to be turmoil. Jennifer explained,
“The Spell of Shattered Sight (the title of episode 11, the winter finale) which makes everyone see the worst in each other, would mean everyone would basically destroy each other.”
Morrison couldn’t reveal too much, but did say the spell does hit Storybrooke. Guess it is a good thing that Emma kept her magic after all. Sounds like she is going to need it.
Another “Once Upon a Time” season 4 storyline that is interesting is Hook’s heartless predicament. Rumple took Hook’s heart, but will Emma help him get it back? It sounds like she might, but it might not happen right away. Jennifer said that there is so much going on right now, but “eventually” Emma will help Hook. Colin added,
“That’s what girlfriends do.”
Morrison did explain that even though Hook doesn’t have his heart right now, he does still seem to love Emma. She compared it to Regina’s heart rules and how when it was removed, her love for Henry didn’t disappear.
As for Regina and Emma, Morrison said that Emma is determined for the women to be friends and allies. They have gone through so much, too much to go back to being enemies in Emma’s mind.
What do you think will happen in “Once Upon a Time” season 4, episodes 10 and 11? How will the Snow Queen be dealt with? How and when do you think Hook will get his heart back? The next episode of “OUAT” airs on Nov. 30.
