It’s true. As Wi-Fi users, we are vulnerable each and every time we use a public Wi-Fi connection at an airport, a coffee shop or even in our own homes. But that’s just a start.
There are eyes always watching and ears always listening to every online movement we make.
Statistics say, that 69% of teens regularly receive online communications from strangers and then they don’t mention it to their parents.
Online security leader, Private Internet Access has come up with VPN services that can alter how we deal with online privacy issues and alleviate a lot of headaches in the process.
For $40 per year, there is a solid tech solution.
With the help of Private Internet Access, you, your family or your business can create a virtual private network. This would make your web searches invisible to other viewers like hackers and criminals. Some good news, Private Internet Access has recently experienced significant growth in their Australian servers and membership subscriptions. This follows the recent court verdict concerning Australians illegally downloading copyrighted content.
The Private Internet Access ‘way” would create a false path for unwanted hackers and viewers.
Talk about turning the tables.
What you do online would be invisible to the bad guys.
I was able to ask, Joseph Craig, Marketing Specialist at London Trust Media, Inc. a couple questions about this important issue.
1. Why privacy is such a hot issue right now and do you expect that to continue in 2016 and beyond…
Privacy is and always will be vitally important to anyone using the Internet, sending emails, inputting email passwords, buying, selling or making any type of financial or bank transaction online. Basically, if you’re conducting any type of transaction online that you wouldn’t want anyone to have access to at any time, making sure those transactions are secure is of the utmost importance. Unfortunately, there will always be those looking to steal your personal information. This unfortunate reality creates real long lasting problems for anyone using the Internet for pleasure, business, gaming, etc. And, those who use public Wi-Fi, whether they do so knowingly or simply forget to turn their Wi-Fi off, are particularly exposed.
2. Why should the average Wal-Mart shopper (consumer) should consider a Virtual Private Network?
Anyone who conducts any type of online transaction that they wouldn’t be willing to share with everyone should seriously consider using a Virtual Private Network or VPN. A VPN basically provides privacy and serves as security for anything that you transmit. So, for example, the average Wal-Mart consumer that either shops online, uses online banking, enjoys social media or transmits messages via e-mail, instant messenger, etc. should seek out a quality VPN service to protect themselves. High-quality VPN’s like Private Internet Access are super simple to install, inexpensive and provide tremendous protection. Many of us now live our lives online, and we are vulnerable to invasions from potential hackers and others who have no qualms about breaking into our private accounts to steal and use our private information. Private Internet Access’ VPN prevents that.
I don’t write a lot about online internet services, but Private Internet Access is worth a look.
