Beauty Without Cruelty, as the name implies, is a 100% cruelty-free and vegetarian skincare, haircare, color cosmetics, and brush line. Yes, they pretty much have everything! BWC caught my attention with their brilliant company name. In need of a natural, non-toxic foundation, I tried the Ultimate Natural Liquid and Ultrafine Loose Powder. I also tested the Balancing Facial Toner, just to discover a bit of BWC skincare. It’s time to Review & Roundup these 3 products.
What is it? Ultimate Natural Liquid
Coverage: Light to Medium
Review & Roundup: This is a lovely liquid foundation that feels lightweight on the skin but can be built up for more coverage. It comes with only 0.5 fl oz of product, but luckily a little does go a long way. The bottle has a pump (yes!) and it’s easy to travel with since it’s plastic and small. I also love that the bottle is clear so I can easily see how much product I have left! I’d recommend the foundation for all skin types. I had no issues with the wear time; it lasted all day on me using both a primer and BWC’s Ultrafine Loose as a setting powder. For reference, I use the shade Fair.
What is it? Ultrafine Loose Powder
Review & Roundup: I love the minimal ingredients in this powder. This is a great “setting” powder for those like me who prefer a little extra coverage over their liquid foundation. I recommend this for normal to oily skin, and the kaolin in the powder does a great job keeping oils at bay. If you have blemish-free skin and you seek a product to slightly even it out, this is one to consider. For reference, I use the shade Translucent Fair.
What is it? Balancing Facial Toner
Review & Roundup: First and foremost, I really enjoyed the soothing herbal scent of this toner! Many others I’ve tried come off very strong but this one was light and fresh. It helped remove excess dirt and oil from my face without stripping the skin or making it feel tight. I think the price point is great, especially since it comes with 8.5 fl oz of product. This is a nice everyday, basic toner that will work for all skin types. I definitely want to try more BWC skincare.
