Every year men try to create a unique Valentine’s Day date, but never think of falling back on a tried and true date. There are so many things to do, some of the classics like going bowling or a movie are forgotten by men trying to one up themselves each year. Some classic dates are perfect when traveling and visiting a new location during a romantic getaway. Almost all of the below activities are fun, and even though most women may not admit it, but they enjoy it too.
Whether you are staying at home for Valentine’s Day or on the road, chances are you will find all of these activities just about anywhere.
Nearly every city has a miniature golf course, and if not, one is not far away. This Valentine’s Day date will take couples back to when they first met by giving them a feeling of being young. More than one mini golf course in the area? Select the corniest one there is. This will give more of a feeling of being a kid again. The cornier the better.
Ice Cream Parlor
After playing a round of mini-golf stop by a local ice cream parlor. Try to find one that offers an old fashioned feel with counter tops. Share a root beer float or favorite ice cream sundae.
Walk on the Beach
There is nothing more romantic than taking a stroll on the beach. If there is a beach nearby make a surprise stop. Just make sure there is a sweater in the car for her, in case it is cool out. Hold hands and enjoy the stars above and the crash of the waves on the beach.
Go See a Movie
There has to be a movie she has been dying to see, but did not go to because she did not want to go alone. Suck it up and take her to that romantic movie. There will be other men in the theater who went to the movie to please their significant other. It may be a better movie than expected and it will make her happy.
Do Not Buy the Gift Ahead of Time
Go out shopping together for Valentine’s Day Gifts. Enjoy a dinner first and at dinner share with each other how much you can spend on a gift. From there go to a local mall and walk around window shopping. Once ready to buy pick out gifts for each other. Bonus here: The guarantee she will like her gift, because she picked it out.
Think Back to the Beginning
Think back to the beginning of the relationship. Where was the first date? First Kiss? And so on. Go back and try to recreate this day. Or better yet, create a date that circles around all of them. Go to where the first date was at, followed by the first kiss. Recreate the moment brining back all the memories when love was fresh and new. This will spark up the relationship and she is sure to love this date, because of the time and thought put into it.
Hopefully this helps you create a unique and classic date for you and your loved one this Valentine’s Day. All of the above activities are fun, unique and will take you both back to when you were younger and fist started dating.
