Rumer Willis, the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, said her body has definitely improved, thanks to her grueling daily workouts for “Dancing With the Stars.” Rumer said the long hours of training are tough but she enjoys it.
“[My body has] definitely changed from dancing five or six hours a day,” Rumer told E! March 30. “It’s pretty tough when you’re jumping up and down and shaking it everywhere.”
Willis, who has flaunted her fit body in skimpy, form-fitting outfits, said she usually prefers to cover her body more. “This was very exposed for me, I tend to like to keep myself a little more covered up,” said Rumer.
Rumer’s “DWTS” partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, said he’s really proud of her hard work and dedication. “I’m super-proud,” said Val. “She’s fearless.”
Rumer and Val wowed judges with their lively rendition of the salsa on March 30, and have been at the top of the “Dancing With the Stars” leadership for the past two weeks. They are considered a leading contender to win the entire competition.
Rumer received some flak last week after saying she’s confident she can win, Celebrity Health reported. “I don’t feel we have a lot of competition,” said Willis. “I’m really confident.”
Rumer: I Didn’t Get Plastic Surgery and Wouldn’t Hide It
In October 2014, reports surfaced that Rumer’s mom, Demi Moore, was furious she had gotten plastic surgery to make her chin smaller. Sources said Demi thought Rumer looked fine before, and lectured her about the dangers of plastic surgery.
“Demi thinks all her daughters are naturally beautiful,” said a friend. “She’s worried that Rumer and her sisters feel pressure to chase an unrealistic Hollywood physical ideal. She got a few of her daughter’s friends together and lectured them about the pitfalls of cosmetic surgery.”
While Rumer has denied going under the knife, her changing appearance over the years has sparked rumors she got plastic surgery to shave down her chin. Sources claim Willis may have also gotten lip injections to get fuller lips.
But Rumer has insisted she didn’t get plastic surgery and wouldn’t hide it if she did. “I know there’s something that came up recently about me getting plastic surgery and it’s not true,” Willis told ET. “If I want to get a boob job or change things about myself, I’m not going to lie.”
Meanwhile, Demi has been the subject of numerous plastic surgery reports over the years. Moore reportedly got $500,000 in cosmetic procedures, including breast implants, a face lift, liposuction, a body lift and a knee cap lift.
Demi has denied getting any plastic surgery on her face. “[The constant cosmetic surgery speculation] feels like schoolyard name-calling; it hurts,” Moore told UK Elle. “Maybe one day I’ll go under the knife. It just irritates me that people are constantly saying how much I’ve spent on plastic surgery.”
