Wednesday, PC magazine listed the deals that Sam’s Club and Costco are offering on electronics on Black Friday; neither Sam’s Club nor Costco are open on Thanksgiving day. Sam’s Club opens at 7 a.m. on Black Friday, and Costco opens at 9 a.m. Sam’s Club plans to extend their sale items through Saturday and Sunday while supplies last on those items, and they are offering hundreds of sale items on their website today. Hundreds of toys, Christmas decorations, electronics, gifts, play sets for kids, bedding, jewelry, office supplies and clothes are on sale Thursday (online) and/or Friday (in stores).
Thursday on their website, Sam’s Club is also offering discounted iTunes cards (in various dollar amounts) while supplies last, deals on generators and small kitchen appliances and free shipping is available on some items. Costco’s Black Friday sale starts tomorrow in stores, online deals on Thanksgiving are not mentioned on the Costco Black Friday website.
Here are a few of the Sam’s Club Black Friday deals, according to PC Magazine:
- $100 off the Apple iPhone 6 with a two-year contract. 16GB is $99, 64GB is $199, and 128GB is $299.
- Samsung Galaxy S5 or Note 3 phablet for $0.96 with a two-year contract
- $100 off the 16GB Apple iPad Air
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 tablet (16GB) for $249 (normally $319)
- 55-Inch Samsung 4K Curved TV for $1,278
- Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Unity Bundle for $329 (normally $349)
- FitBit Flex Starter Kit for $80
Here are a few of the Costco Black Friday deals, according to PC Magazine:
- Buy a 32GB Silver iPad Air and get a $40 iTunes gift card between 11/28 and 12/1
- Buy an Apple TV and get a $15 iTunes gift card
- $10 off the $35 Google Chromecast
- $100 off an HP TouchSmart All-in-One desktop PC with a 4th-gen Intel Core i5 processor, 1TB hard drive, and 8GB of memory (was $899)
- $150 a 15.6-inch HP Envy TouchSmart laptop with Core i7 processor, backlit keyboard, 12GB of memory, and a 1TB hard drive (was $799)
Toys-R-Us, Michaels and Game Stop are offering deals that start on their websites today, and some are offering deep discounts online and in their stores later today. Online, Michaels is offering 40% an entire regularly priced purchase on Thanksgiving day from midnight to 4 p.m. Michaels stores open at 4 p.m. To read about these stores, click here.

Numerous items have been added on Amazon.com for their Black Friday deals. Beginning on Thursday, Amazon’s Black Friday sale will run for twelve days straight, and they include a new deal every 10 minutes. Sale at Amazon include clothing, tools, electronics, shoes, tablets, and toys. Some deals have already started and are on sale through Friday. Walmart’s Black Friday Walmart sale has already started, and it will run for ten days. Paste magazine announced their list of the 10 best Black Friday 2014 tech deals and some of the sale prices are available right now, before the official Black Friday sale begins. Electronics are the most wanted items on Black Friday, but they typically have the lowest discounts, and a recent WalletHub survey showed that this year they are lowest discounted items at around 21%, while jewelry was discounted at closer to 60%. A WalletHub Black Friday study included 5,525 Black Friday ads that were scanned and analyzed for the best deals in 2014 and the results were surprising, because the stores a the top of the list were unexpected. JCPenney included deals up to just over 65% and topped the list this year by far exceeding the discounts than any other retailer, while CostCo came in at the lowest on the list of great deals offered on Black Friday at 21%. Target’s sales and deals will be offered on their website on Thanksgiving day and a few doorbusters will be offered later that night in stores and early on Black Friday morning. Discounts of up to 30% off on Kenmore appliances, and 10% off other appliances; 24 months special financing is being offered, and they can get an extra 5% off appliances, or chose free delivery. Best Buy plans to hand out tickets to customers in line two hours prior to their opening times (which are on Thanksgiving day and Friday morning).
