On Dec. 8 the Latin rock band Santana announced in an issued press release, tour dates for the spring and summer of 2015. The world tour begins Mar. 8 in Saint Petersburg, Fla., and ends July 25 in London. You can view a complete list of tour dates below.
During their “Corazón Tour” the band will also perform in such major cities as Nashville, Berlin, Verona, Corpus Christi, Texas, and Memphis, Tenn. For their concerts on Mar. 27 and Mar. 28 Santana will co-headline those dates with Journey. Opening up for both bands on those two dates will be the Counting Crows. For the Mar. 27 concert, Creedence Clearwater Revisted will also perform.
Tickets are currently on sale for select dates. By Dec. 12 tickets will be on sale for all concerts. Along with headlining dates, they will also perform at several music festivals. On July 10 they will perform at the Jazz a Juan Les Pins Festival, and on July 17 they will perform at the Festival Les Deferlantes. Both festivals take place in France.
The band Santana is fronted by guitarist Carlos Santana. They will be touring in support of their 22nd studio album, Corazón. The album was released earlier this year on May 6 via RCA Records and Sony Latin Iberia. The album went on to reach No. 9 on the U.S. Billboard 200 Albums chart.
The standard version of Corazón features 12 tracks. The deluxe edition features three additional tracks. The lead single from the album is “La Flaca”, which features Juanes. Other guest artists on the album include Pitbull, Ziggy Marley, Miguel, and Lila Downs.
